How does uSwitch.com make money?
uSwitch.com has agreed deals with some broadband providers to receive a small commission payment when a customer chooses to sign up through us. Our commercial relationships are in place to help make the sign up process as convenient as possible for our customers. They also enable us to keep this a free service. Our commercial relationships have no bearing on the ranking of providers in your results.

Can I trust your information to be accurate and comprehensive?
Our pricing
The prices we use to calculate your results are supplied directly by providers. We monitor all providers continually and update to ensure our results are comprehensive and accurate. No provider has an interest in our company and our results are impartial and independent.
Providers
Although there are over a 100 UK broadband providers, we only include providers that meet our strict criteria. This ensures the provider is large enough and has the necessary systems in place, to provide an efficient and satisfactory level of service to all customers. Each provider must:
- provide a residential service
- provide information on the availability of the product, by supplying a postcode list if necessary
- provide two nominated contacts within their organisation to provide pricing information: one main contact and one back-up contact
- provide uSwitch.com with a monthly update of full pricing information, in a format specified by uSwitch.com. uSwitch.com reserve the right to remove any provider from the site who does not comply with this
- give a minimum of five working days notice of any price changes
- operate a customer call centre OR offer an email customer service
- provide uSwitch.com with published accounts or other suitable credit references upon request
Bundled products
A provider may include a maximum of one broadband/home phone bundle. The bundle price can not be higher than the provider’s stand alone broadband price.
