1st April 2004: Powergen reduce electricity rates

Effective 19th April 2004, all customers on the Powergen Energy Online tariff in the ScottishPower and Manweb regions will receive a reduction in electricity rates. The average 3.3% decrease equates to a saving of £17.50 a year.

1st April 2004: Green Week starts on the 1st June 2004

Green Week, an event organised by the European Commission, starts on the 1st June 2004. Green Week's objective is to encourage people to think aloud about how we can change our behaviour towards the environment.
