Powergen have announced the cost of their domestic gas will rise by 11.9% and electricity by 7.6%. They have justified the price increase on the rise in wholesale gas costs over the last 12 months.New customers will be hit with the price rises immediately, while current customers will see their prices increase from 31st August.
