4th June 2007: uSwitch.com publishes its latest energy supplier customer satisfaction ratings
Following its survey with YouGov of over 6,500 energy customers, uSwitch.com has published its latest customer satisfaction ratings.
Once again British Gas has been rated as the worst supplier of the UK's six major energy suppliers with an overall satisfaction rating of 55%. However this was an improvement of 11% compared to uSwitch's findings of six months ago.
Scottish and Southern Energy retained its crown as best overall energy supplier for the third consecutive survey with 70% of customers satisfied with its service.

Commenting on the surveys findings, Ann Robinson uSwitch.com’s Consumer Policy Director said,:
"Customers need to carry on taking matters into their own hands and change suppliers if their current one is failing them. Strangely enough, the one aspect of service that the suppliers are getting right is the transfer of customer accounts. Switching numbers hit a high of four million last year and Scottish and Southern Energy, voted best supplier three times in a row by consumers, gained over one million new customers."
