Tesco Mobile was created as a Virtual Network Operator in a partnership between Tesco and O2, with each owning 50% of the service. Tesco uses its huge supermarket and online presence to promote its mobile offering to its millions of its shoppers. Tesco Mobile currently only offers pay as you go tariffs.

Tesco Mobile mirrors Tesco’s core offering by selling basic, good value packages for customers looking for low call costs from a mobile deal. As well as a standard tariff Tesco Mobile also provides an Extra tariff which provides discounts to those who spend more and a Value tariff for a basic, no frills deal.
Customers who have a Tesco Clubcard can collect points when they top up their card and customers can top up their mobile when they do their weekly shop.
