24Mb broadband explained

24Mb broadband is the fastest ADSL broadband currently available in the UK. A 24Mb service is available from Be, Eclipse, Primus and TalkTalk at present. However, other ISPs are climbing the non-cable speed rankings, with the likes of Virgin, Orange, Sky and O2 currently offering 20Mb.

More ISPs should soon be able to offer this impressive 24Mb speed. But as 24Mb broadband is only currently available in a limited number of locations, we thought you might want to see all your speedy options.

How does 24Mb broadband work?

If you are living in an urban area in which Be, Eclipse, Primus and TalkTalk operate and you live close to the nearest exchange, you may be able to get 24Mb broadband.

24Mb broadband is provided over a ADSL2 connection. ADSL2 is the cutting edge of broadband technology and offers up to 24Mb downloads.
