Madasafish without the strings
Posted 12th June 2007 at 2:40pm by Alex Buttle
Award-winning ISP Madasafish have announced an exciting new deal aimed at shaking up the broadband world. From today they are ditching the wires and providing a free wireless networking kit for all new customers. The kit includes a wireless router and a USB dongle allowing the wireless connection of a desktop PC or Mac in addition to any existing Wi-Fi ready laptops and games consoles.
The new deal reduces the cost of getting wireless broadband up to 8Mb/s, allowing users to surf the net, read emails, download music and play videogames from any room in the house from £11.99 a month.
Madasafish are confident that nearly anyone can set up the kit, however an expert technical support team will be available 24 hours a day either by phone or email. “Our customers are of utmost importance to us, which is why our Customer Services are among the best in the Broadband industry” says Samara Zittin, Madasafish Customer Care Manager.
Matthew Henton, Head of Marketing at Madasafish said, “Wireless has really exploded recently. People want to check email in bed on their laptops and make calls from wireless VoIP phones while they’re in the garden – it’s completely changed our relationship with computers in the home. Technology that offers this level of freedom should work straight out of the box, but the idea of setting up a home Wi-Fi network still terrifies most people. This is why we have introduced a kit that supplies all you need to get started, regardless of whether you’re a Mac or a PC user. Of course if anyone does need help, our support staff are there to help them get on line quickly and easily”.
The equipment, compatible with both PC’s and Macs, includes D-Link 54Mbps ADSL wireless router and a Wireless G USB adapter.
