Be Broadband, one of the only ADSL2+ ISPs in the country (i.e. can prove speeds of up to 24 Mb/s) has announced that their coverage has increased further and are on target to expand more.
So far Be Broadband is now available at 779 exchanges and based in 36 major cities stretching the country from Brighton to Edinburgh. Be now have coverage for 47.6 per cent of the country, by December this year the aim is to have Be broadband at 833 exchanges which gives a national coverage of 51.54 per cent. The map below shows their current coverage.
(The darker the red the higher the coverage)
Be Broadband offer 2 packages for home users, Be Lite and Be Unlmited, both with speeds of up to 24Mb/s. it is worth noting that the further away from your local exchange you are the slower the speed will be. However this should still be faster than other speeds that rival ISPs are offering.
