PlusNet adds PS3 gaming server

Broadband provider PlusNet has added a Playstation 3 (PS3) gaming server to its range of multiplayer services.
The server will enable gamers to play Warhawk - the popular flight sim-cum-aerial-combat game, which was one of the PS3's much trumpeted launch titles, Ispreview.com reports.
PlusNet launched its package targeted at gamers earlier this year, promising gamers a connection with "low ping and latency" that prioritised gaming, meaning that the days of them being "fragged because of lag" were over.
Subscribers to PlusNet's package are also able to access a number of other servers for PC games, including Quake Wars, Counter Strike Source, Team Fortress 2 and Enemy Territory, with more PS3 and PC servers expected to be added in the near future.
The £19.99 per month package also includes a usage allowance of 10GB, a free wireless router, 240 minutes of broadband phone calls and 24/7 UK-based customer support.
