Business Ethernet provider Spitfire has announced the launch of a new product that will bring ultra-fast broadband services to businesses requiring the most reliable platform for their communications strategies.
The Spitfire ethernet service will offer speeds ranging from 2MB to 1GB and are designed specifically for businesses that require a large bandwidth allowance to conduct operations.
Specifically, the company states that it will be ideal for medium and large financial and legal businesses.
The service will be available to businesses in the City and central London and is charged on a flat tariff rate based on postcodes.
In domestic broadband news, a number of high-speed services have also been announced, including a proposal by H20 to use existing sewer networks to deliver speeds of up to 100MB.
BT has also announced its commitment to delivering fibre-based broadband services that will match that speed.
The scheme will initially be available to 10,000 homes in Kent and will offer users the best quality high definition and gaming capabilities, reports vnunet.com.
