PlusNet in BBYW price slash
Posted 24th June 2008 at 12:50pm by Alex Buttle
PlusNet has embarked on a summer price slashing exercise, offering 50 per cent off for three months on its Broadband Your Way (BBYW) subscriptions taken with home phone.
According to the provider, the deal will apply to both evenings and weekends and anytime packages, subject to a 12 month contract for both deals.
The offer came into effect yesterday (June 23rd) and will run through the season until August 31st, with standard cancellation terms applying within the period.
Although other offers are still available, the deal applies only to new customers and upgrades from dial on PlusNet and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
PlusNet, which was founded in 1997, now has over 200,000 broadband customers. The Sheffield-based firm is an independent subsidiary of BT.
In 2008 the company won Best Consumer ISP at the ISP Awards, known as the Oscars of the internet industry.
