Mainline offers Orange Home Max
Posted 29th July 2008 at 10:00am by Alex Buttle
Distributor Mainline Digital Communications has announced it is to make Orange's Home Max package available through mobile phone dealers.
The firm believes that the new broadband and landline deal will give independent dealers the chance to secure more broadband customers.
Mobile phone outlets will be offered extra sales support and help promoting products via Mainline's Blueprint marketing programme.
"This is an excellent package," the distributors marketing manager, Stephen Spillett, told Mobile Today.
He went on: "It will help dealers to maximise sales opportunities, generate additional commissions and strengthen their relationships with their customers."
Orange recently landed itself in hot water in the promotion of the Home Max package, which offers wireless broadband and two home phone lines including line rental.
The Advertising Standards Authority considered that the broadband provider made an unfair comparison between its own services and BT's.
