Wireless broadband's musical possibilities
Posted 29th August 2008 at 4:00pm by Alex Buttle
Entertainment systems using wireless broadband technology bring a whole new set of possibilities to the home, one expert has highlighted.
Gary Beckwith of the Newcastle Evening Chronicle has highlighted the new range of music products which mean extra cabling is not needed to blast out tunes.
Gadgets such as the Logitech Squeezebox Duet allow broadband customers to enjoy the music collection on their PC in any room in the house.
Focusing on the aforementioned product, Mr Beckwith explained: "With the Squeezebox, you can enjoy your collection on any audio system you have in the home.
"Sending music over the airwaves means you can enjoy more of your music, more of the time."
The Logitech Squeezebox Duet, which will retail at around £279, was awarded five stars out of six in a recent review from PC Pro.
