Be Broadband opens gamer portal
Posted 31st October 2008 at 4:00pm by Alex Buttle
Be Broadband has released its new gamer portal for testing by customers today (Friday, October 31st).
The website is another feature marketed by Be Broadband to attract gamers - the provider picked up the 'Best Gaming Broadband' award at the Top 10 Broadband Awards.
Be Broadband's steps to woo the gaming world continued last week when the broadband supplier sponsored the Eurokrieg CS:S tournament finals at the Haymarket Sports Cafe in London.
"Through initiatives such as Be Gamer.co.uk and partnerships with exciting gaming companies such as EnemyDown, Be really is the first choice for all serious gamers," said managing director Felix Geyr.
He went on: "Be Gamers gain an advantage over everyone else through Be's industry leading ping times, meaning that if you have Be Broadband youll be able to act and react faster than your opponents."
While the www.begamer.co.uk website is still in its testing phase, useful feedback from Be members has led to a number of additions being planned.
