Posted 22nd October 2008 at 4:00pm by Alex Buttle
PlusNet has announced the roll-out of a free router offer with option 1 of its home broadband services.
The promotion will run from Wednesday (October 22nd) until November 1st, giving customers the opportunity to ensure they have wireless connectivity at home while signing up for PlusNet's deal.
According to PlusNet, the promotion is set to be a big hit with British broadband customers.
The provider says that a short trial conducted with the co-operation of uSwitch found that sales were increased by 100 per cent over only four days as a result of the new addition to the package.
PlusNet's home broadband Option 1 comes with a 2Gb usage allowance, costing £9.99 on a monthly-contract.
One of the best value home broadband deals is currently offered by the provider 8Mb for £9.99 per month.
