T-Mobile shines in mobile broadband tests

T-Mobile has been rated as the best mobile broadband provider after recent independent tests.
The company was found to offer the fastest mobile broadband service, with data from leading test house P3 Solutions showing T-Mobile web browsing to be 25 per cent faster on average than that of its nearest rival.
According to the results of the study, which measured customer experience over a three-month period, T-Mobile subscribers also enjoy the fastest speeds for sending and receiving emails.
"These independent tests clearly put T-Mobile's mobile broadband network ahead of the pack," said Mobile UK's chief technology officer, Emin Gurdenli.
He went on: "P3's benchmarking reveals that our programme of continuous improvement and investment in network performance is delivering a richer experience for our fast-growing base of mobile broadband users."
The 60 per cent faster upload speeds which were recorded are thought to be a result of the provider's nationwide deployment of HSUPA connectivity.
