Providers pushing New Year bundles
Posted 14th January 2009 at 12:00pm by Alex Buttle
The New Year will see fierce competition among broadband providers eager to sign up customers to several of their services, one expert has suggested.
Charlie Ponsonby, chief executive of Simplifydigital, has highlighted the fact that bundles can work out cheaper for customers, while providers are able to sell more of their services.
"The UK's biggest providers are falling over themselves to entice consumers to sign up to their digital TV, broadband and home phone services as they enter the January sale spirit with a vengeance," he commented.
O2 mobile phone customers can take advantage of a special offer from the provider - a home broadband Pro package offering 20Mb will cost them £17.13 per month.
Those wishing to roll their phone, digital TV and broadband bills into one may be interested in the 'Smaller Bills - bigger Thrills' bundle from Sky.
Savings of £60 can be made with free line rental for three months and Sky Max broadband at no cost over the same period.
