Compare dongles, new advice urges

A broadband comparison site is one of the best ways to weigh up a mobile broadband deal, it has been suggested.
Technology news provider Absolute Gadget has recommended that Brits considering a 3G internet deal for the first time go online in order to decide on the best deal for them.
As well as being able to access a range of information on USB modem sticks, web surfers are also free to check out the price plans offered by various competing providers.
According to the website: "Using a price comparison site too will help, as it will set out speeds, price plans and download limits side-by-side, making it easier to compare."
However, the broadband comparison address went on to stress that coverage in a particular area should be influential: "An important thing to do before buying is to check the network coverage, and choose one that will offer a good signal in your area, and over the widest area."
T-Mobile recently revealed plans to launch a pay-per-use mobile broadband product, allowing users to surf the web free from a contract.
