Posted 28th May 2009 at 2:55pm by Jonathan Leggett
Just three days remain to sign up for three months free broadband as part of money-saving incentives from O2 and Be Broadband.
Under the terms of the O2’s current promotion, all customers who buy either the Premium and Pro broadband packages before May 31st quality for free broadband for the initial three months of their contract term.
This means savings of up to £44.04 for Premium customers who do not take their mobile telephony services from O2. Meanwhile, non-O2 mobile phone customers who choose the Pro package save £66.06.
The promotion is also open to O2 mobile customers with savings of £29.37 and £51.39 on offer with the Premium and Pro broadband deals respectively.
Designed for heavier broadband users, the Pro and Premium packages offer a super fast broadband connection of up to 20Mb in selected areas and unlimited usage, as well as free McAfee security software.
Be’s cheap broadband deal also runs out at the end of May. The promotion entitles all customers who buy the Unlimited and Pro broadband offers to three months free broadband, saving £22.50 and £64.50 respectively.
In order to take advantage of the Be's incentive, buyers must visit Top 10 Broadband’s dedicated Be page and sign up with the award-winning broadband supplier for 12 months. When completing the purchase they must then enter the promotional code 3MonthsFree to quality for the discount.
After the initial three-months of the contract is up the monthly charge reverts to £17.50 for Unlimited customers and £21.50 for those on the Pro package.
Like the products from O2, Be's packages are designed to meet the needs of heavier users and online gaming enthusiasts. This is reflected in the fact that both feature a broadband connection speed of up to 24Mb and unlimited downloads.
Both O2 and Be have performed consistently well in independent surveys in recent years, scoring especially highly in customer service categories.
