Customers considering signing up for one of O2's home broadband deals should do so today to get their first two months for free.

The deal, which is available on the broadband provider's Standard, Premium and Pro packages, is due to expire tomorrow (July 31st).

O2's Standard package is available to existing customers for £7.34 per month and all others for £12.23 - it offers downloads up to 8Mb, McAfee security software and 11 free web texts per month.

The Premium deal, meanwhile, is priced at £9.79 and £14.68 for O2 customers and other consumers respectively and features 20Mb downloads, McAfee software for up to three computers and 200 web texts per month.

Heavier broadband users may prefer the Pro deal, which consists of 20Mb download speeds, dedicated customer service number, McAfee's security program for five computers and 500 free web texts a month.

Currently, customers can buy O2's pre-paid mobile broadband dongle for £14.67, half of its normal price, until August 3rd.
