An improved mobile broadband solution for vehicles is to be made available thanks to the joint efforts of three providers.
Beyond DSL, Ten Haaft and Conrad Anderson, a distributor and vehicle electronics specialist, have joined forces in order to deliver the new service in the UK.
The aim is to provide mobile broadband coverage for moving vehicles that is more reliable.
Announced on July 31st, the new mobile broadband partnership will make use of Eurosat's Astra2Connect satellite internet service, as well as Ten Haaft's Oyster Automatic satellite system.
Prices for the service will vary from £17.49 to £69.95 per month, with a fitting charge of £300 and service hardware costs of approximately £3,500 for a motorised dish, control box and satellite modem.
