T-Mobile unveils new mobile broadband gift packs
Posted 29th September 2009 at 3:21pm by Oliver Folkard
Internet service provider T-Mobile has launched a collection of gift packs designed to encourage people to use mobile broadband services.
The packs, which are available in either three or 12-month options, allow customers to get online for a one-off payment and offer savings of over 25 per cent compared to pay-per-day packages.
Each of the deals includes a mobile broadband USB dongle, as well as allowance for unlimited browsing for the duration of the period paid for.
The three-month gift pack costs £44.03, while the 12-month alternative is priced at £146.79.
Helen Wylde, head of pay-as-you-go market at T-Mobile, said the deals are designed to help more people get online.
"With a one-off cost up-front, and our promise of no run-on rates for the person using their unlimited mobile broadband, it's the perfect present for friends or family," she added.
It was recently confirmed that T-Mobile's UK operations are set to form a 50:50 joint venture company with Orange UK.
