Fibre-optic broadband provider Virgin Media has announced plans to launch a new online-only TV channel featuring its Living brand.
The Liv channel is set to include free and exclusively-commissioned content on a range of topics, including show previews, celebrity news and popular videos on the internet.
Set for launch on October 23rd, the content is likely to be available via applications placed on a range of websites.
Virgin Media's director of television, Claudia Rosencratz, said Living has the potential to be "a leading entertainment brand on every screen".
"Liv is the first step in taking the brand beyond TV and I am extremely excited about the creative and commercial opportunities that Liv presents," she added.
Details of the launch have come after Virgin Media also agreed a deal to broadcast Disney content over its TV, online and mobile applications.
