Vivaciti adjusting LLU pricing
Posted 10th September 2009 at 4:35pm by Ewan Taylor-Gibson
Broadband provider Vivaciti has announced cuts to the price of its Local Loop Unbundling (LLU) Unlimited package.
In a statement to customers, the firm has announced that from November 1st the price for the broadband service will drop from £21.85 per month to £19.99 per month.
The firm has also announced it is changing its migration and new connection charges, setting the price at £24.
Vivaciti claims it has decided on all price adjustments to help consumers "in this difficult economic climate" and advised customers paying by direct debit the changes will take effect automatically.
The firm's contract period has also been adjusted on its LLU Unlimited Package, so customers wishing to leave after six months can buy out the remainder of the contract for £25.
Vivaciti recently embarked on a process of switching broadband accounts over to a new upgraded server, as the firm claims it was running out of resources to cope with new customers on its old server.
