Orange is texting its home broadband customers as part of a major new marketing campaign.
The mobile and fixed-line broadband provider is entering subscribers that text back with their real email addresses into a competition where they can win £1,000 of shopping vouchers for use in Marks & Spencer (M&S).
According to Gomonews.com, long-established mobile phone customers also have the chance to enjoy some free fixed broadband services.
However, it is thought the scheme is also part of an effort from Orange to discover which email addresses its mobile phone and broadband subscribers tend to use, as many may not access accounts provided to them by the company.
Details of the new incentive have come after Orange launched an offer involving a £20 voucher for HMV.
Customers who sign up to selected laptop or dongle mobile broadband plans will be able to get their hands on the incentive.
