Second Nokia netbook being prepped?
Posted 27th October 2009 at 11:51am by Jonathan Leggett
You’ll recall that a matter of months ago the Finnish mobile phone giant popped its netbook cherry with the Nokia Booklet 3G Now, if shadowy sources cited on the interweb are to be believed, a second device is in R&D already.

Lending credence to the speculation is a report from Chinese news provider Economic Daily News that attests to the success of the first netbook. The way they tell it, massive demand has resulted in Nokia’s ODM partner Compal Electronics busting a gut to fulfill orders.
Alas, we’ve no word on specs or release dates as yet – although the smart money is definitely on it featuring Nokia’s Maemo OS. But check back here for updates and we’ll be sure to fill you in on availability as well as if and when it lands on mobile broadband contract deals.
