Virgin Media has revealed it recorded strong trading results across the third quarter of this year.
The fibre-optic broadband and digital TV provider revealed that its consumer on-net revenue increased by 5.3 per cent to £628 million over the period, while its broadband customer net additions rose by 39,000.
In addition, the number of its subscribers with access to speeds of 10Mb or higher rose by 157 per cent year-on-year, while there was a 40 per cent rise in those with 20Mb connections.
Virgin Media also added 37,000 new customers to its digital TV services.
Neil Berkett, Chief Executive Officer of Virgin Media, said: "Our triple-play penetration is at record levels and over ten per cent of our customers now take all four services from us.
"Our focus remains on attracting high value customers, who buy more from us and stay with us longer."
The release of the financial results has come after the company recently confirmed it now has a secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange.
