Virgin Media makes True Movies free
Posted 13th November 2009 at 2:42pm by Ewan Taylor-Gibson
Virgin Media is now offering free access to the True Movies channel as part of its quad-play broadband TV packages.
The broadband provider has revealed that customers can view the channel, which is usually only available to those with XL TV subscriptions, for no extra charge until the middle of January next year, Digital Spy reports.
True Movies specialises in showing films based on real-life stories or events and content shown on it includes Summer Dreams - Story of the Beach Boys and The Amy Fisher Story.
People can tune into the channel at position 428.
Details of the offer have come after Broadband TV News revealed that Virgin Media is to showcase a range of 3D content through its digital TV platform later this month.
Customers will need to buy special glasses from Sainsbury's and Virgin Media's own stores to enjoy the 3D season, which will begin on November 17th.
