Vodafone has stated that it enjoyed "good uptake" of its mobile broadband offerings earlier this year.
The trading update for the six months to September 30th revealed its data revenue grew by 19.8 per cent on an organic basis.
Around 30 per cent of the body's customers across Europe are now regular monthly users of mobile internet services and the company is looking to boost this figure further through a range of plans.
In addition, its fixed broadband services in Europe enjoyed growth over the period and the company now has a total of 5.1 million people signed up to the services.
Last month, Vodafone announced plans to form a strategic partnership with Decho Corporation to offer cloud-based backup services to both its business and residential broadband customers.
The Vodafone PC Backup platform will allow users to share content from their account via a web browser on either a laptop, PC or netbook.
