BT Care offering video tips via YouTube
Posted 9th December 2009 at 11:32am by Oliver Folkard
Broadband provider BT has established a new YouTube channel as it bids to better connect with customers over the web.
Promotional videos on BT products and services are being uploaded, along with advice on technical issues such as setting up broadband connections.
Early video titles include Fit a BT Accelerator, Improve Wireless Performance and Change Wireless Channel on a Hub 1.5.
BT says the clips allow customers "to go at their own pace", with play, rewind and pause options available.
An introductory video says the content is "simple", urging subscribers to "have a go" at using the service and offer feedback to the internet service provider via its forums.
A spokesperson for BT Care said new online content would be uploaded to the YouTube channel throughout the year.
Earlier this week, it was reported that BT will provide the next-generation broadband infrastructure Manchester's new MediaCityUK development.
