PlusNet offers three months of free broadband
Posted 11th December 2009 at 2:46pm by Oliver Folkard
Leading broadband provider PlusNet has launched a new special offer of three months of free service for those who sign up before the end of this year.
New subscribers can take advantage of the deal by entering the code 'friendsandfamily' when registering for one of the company's packages, which include the Value service priced at £5.99 a month.
As well as including a 10GB download allowance, the package offers speeds of up to 8Mb, a free wireless router and 24/7 support.
Another option for new subscribers could be the Premium deal, which offers up to 20Mb speeds and unlimited overnight usage.
The 'friendsandfamily' code is set to expire on December 31st.
Details about the deal have come after PlusNet's Peter Jackson warned consumers about the potential impact Christmas lights can have on broadband connections.
He explained that some lights can cause RF interference which could affect the quality of services received through ADSL broadband technology.
