Meanwhile, the Compaq Mini 311 has been given an upgrade to the latest edition of Microsoft’s operating system Windows 7. Standout features of the ultra portable Mini 311 broadband netbook, which ordinarily retails for £311, include an 11.6” screen, 1GB of RAM, an integrated webcam and a 160GB hard drive.
Both devices are available from £35 per month over a two year contract with monthly usage limits is 5GB per month.
Elsewhere, we’ve got two new dongles to choose from, namely the Huawei E122 and the E1750. Both offer a connection speed of up to 7.2 Mb – that’s twice the maximum previously available to 3 customers.
