KCOM Group performance 'in line with expectations'

Communications company the KCOM Group has revealed that it has met its expectations in terms of its recent trading performance.
In its latest interim management statement, the parent company of broadband provider Eclipse Internet revealed that its "good" cash performance helped it reach a strong financial position at the end of December.
The firm added that confidence is high that its actions over the past 18 months will improve the overall quality of its interests.
Bill Halbert, Executive Chairman of the company, said: "The group continues to make good progress, focusing on strengthening the profitability of the activities that we undertake and the delivery of higher value-added, recurring revenues."
The company is set to announce its preliminary results on May 25th.
News of the management statement has come around two months after its Eclipse Internet subsidiary was named the recommended broadband provider of SimplicITy Computers, a company which has designed a new PC operating system for older people.
