People can enjoy a few weeks of free internet access if they sign up for a home broadband package from O2, it has been revealed.
Until January 31st, the company is offering new subscribers the first two months of their contracts for free.
The offer is available on all of the firm's packages, including the entry-level Standard deal.
Available for £12.50 a month, or £7.50 a month to O2 mobile consumers, the package includes download speeds of up to 8Mb, as well as a free wireless router and unlimited usage.
McAfee security software and free web texts, as well as O2 email addresses, are also included in the package.
Details of the offer come after the company confirmed it has been trialling high-speed mobile broadband technology in Slough, as part of a project with technology provider Huawei.
The pilot of long-term evolution technology produced downlink rates of 150Mb through mobile internet services.
