Broadband provider Vodafone has announced the launch of a new and improved set of mobile internet deals.

The company has unveiled two new pay monthly options for those looking to use mobile broadband service regularly, with one priced at £15 a month for 3GB of data and basic anti-virus, spyware protection and 2GB of backup.

Alternatively, people could choose the £20 a month option, which features a 4GB data allowance, as well as a premium PC security pack which includes parental controls and unlimited backup services.

In addition, people now have new pay-as-you-go options to choose from. The company is offering its consumers 3GB of data, rather than 1GB, when they purchase a K3565 USB modem for £34.99.

The allowance is available for subscribers to take up within 30 days of purchasing.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that both O2 and Orange have recently cut the prices on some of their mobile broadband packages.

I want to do a trip round britain with my boat and want mobile connection for that. I was told that vodaphone did a dongle deal which would not expire for a year.

I now find that this is not the case. Just what use is a stick where you have to take the credit up within a month or you lose it?

I already had that once before. I bought a sim with 100 pound of credit. I used half of that and then did not use it again for some time.
