City Inn to improve wireless broadband services
Posted 24th February 2010 at 3:18pm by Oliver Folkard
Guests staying at City Inn hotels will soon be able to enjoy faster speeds through the group's wireless broadband infrastructure, it has been announced.
The independent chain, which was established in 1995, is set to implement a dedicated 100Mb connection from Easynet Global Services across all six of its hotels in the UK.
It is hoped the move will give visitors the opportunity to access the level of broadband speeds that people often expect in their workplaces.
Huw O'Connor, Managing Director of City Inn, said the company has always been "a pioneer in the use of technology".
He added: "At City Inn we see such services as an essential part of our customers experience thereby in line with our commitments to always provide exceptional value, we feel it is important to include such services as standard."
Broadband provider BT recently announced it now has one million Wi-Fi hotspots in use across the UK.
