Orange broadband and 3 mobile broadband deals have been sweetened with the offer of a beauty treatment and the chance to sign up for cut-price Microsoft Office software.
For a limited period, consumers who take any Orange home or mobile broadband package will be given a Mothers Day 'Treat Mum Beauty Voucher'. This can be used for either a mini beauty treatment for one person or two-for-one on selected beauty treatments.
Customers can choose from five treatment options, taking in facial, manicure, pedicure, massage or waxing, each of which will last between 15 and 20 twenty minutes. A full list of participating salons across the UK can be found at the www.treatmum.com website.
Orange broadband offers for home users feature connection speeds of up to 20Mb and unlimited monthly usage – ideal for heavy downloaders or anyone who makes extensive use of the web.
The supplier’s home broadband prices start from just £6.50 per month for the standalone broadband product Home Select. Subscribers can also take an Orange phone line with their broadband by signing up for the Home Starter, Home Ultra or Home Max offerings and qualify for the giveaway.
Finally, Orange mobile broadband deals on which the giveaway applies start at £5 per month for existing Orange mobile phone customers or £7.50 for those who are new to the company.
Meanwhile, rival broadband provider 3 is currently running a promotion whereby all subscribers who sign up for a monthly contract MiFi or dongle deal or combined mobile broadband laptop and dongle bundle can get Microsoft Office Home & Student for the reduced price of £59.99. This gives them access to all key Microsoft software, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
The network operator also pledges that it will allow all customers who take up the option to buy the software to upgrade for free when Office 2010 launches in the summer.
3 laptop mobile broadband bundles start at £17.50 per month over 24 months. This entry-level offering teams a Dell Mini 1012 netbook and a dongle and features a 1GB monthly download limit. A 5GB option for the same laptop is also available for a monthly charge of £25.
Meanwhile, dongle-only offerings in 3’s mobile broadband product range start at £7.50 per month over 24 months. A 1GB monthly usage limit applies. Alternatively, a MiFi unit, a device which enables a single mobile broadband connection to be shared between multiple users, can be secured from £17 with 5GB of data usage per month.
