UK internet service provider (ISP) Entanet has earned a place in the Real Business Hot 100, based upon its high level of company growth over the last four years.

The broadband provider took 78th position in the poll, having defied the recession by registering a 52 per cent annual growth rate since 2006.

Entanet became one of only 13 IT and telecoms-related companies to make the top 100, achieving its growth organically without external investment.

Entanet's Head of Marketing, Darren Farnden, commented: "By consistently being among the first to trial and develop new services we have distinguished ourselves from our competitors."

He said the ISP was continuing to provide its channel partners and subscribers with significant market opportunities.

Earlier this year, broadband provider Eclipse Internet won the Best Customer Focus prize at the Best Business Awards 2010.
