A new offer from Sky will allow consumers who subscribe to its sports TV deals to access the content in a variety of ways.

The broadband provider is now allowing those who are registered to the Sky Sports Pack bonus access to both Sky Mobile TV and Sky Player from July 12th until the end of this year.

According to the company, this will mean that subscribers can access their favourite sports coverage across platforms including the iPad, iPhone, TV and their PC for a single monthly subscription fee.

Mike Darcey, Chief Operating Officer at Sky, said the deal was designed to give consumers "more choice and control", as well as value and convenience.

He added: "By offering innovative access to Sky Sports across Mobile TV and Sky Player, we are providing a truly accessible multiplatform experience for our customers."

Sky recently confirmed that its Sky Sports News channel will soon only be available as part of broadband TV deals.

Cool news. Although most people with any tech savvy can watch Premier League football online without paying anyway.
