Broadband provider BT is heading to Edmonton later this week to promote the benefits of super-fast internet services, it has been revealed.

The company has announced that its BT Infinity double-decker bus is set to park up at Edmonton Green Shopping Centre on July 30th, where residents and businesses will have a chance to learn about the benefits of the technology.

During the visit, BT is also seeking a family which uses the internet as an integral part of home life and will offer a suitable household a free 18-month subscription to its fibre services.

Duncan Ingram, BT's London Regional Director, said the firm is keen to showcase the benefits of broadband to local people.

He added: "As online services advance and evolve, BT's fibre-based broadband will really make the difference in homes where competition is hotting up for internet access."

BT recently confirmed that it is close to completing a network upgrade which will see homes and businesses in Eltham gain access to super-fast internet.

I live in waltham abbey and for the last 15 years my broadband has been very slow owing to my postal address? i just wonder when bt will be able to give me the broadband i pay for and deserve.

I am now disabled and spend a lot of time on my computer after having a heart problem in 2007. Please update me when i can expect a good broadband that works well.
