Redstone launches small business broadband packages
Posted 5th July 2010 at 11:24am by Oliver Folkard
Internet service provider (ISP) Redstone Managed Solutions has launched a new range of next-generation business broadband deals.
The ISP is primarily targeting the small and medium-sized enterprise market with its service, saying it is looking for customers who require more from their broadband provider.
Redstone is offering business users exclusive access to its own core network, meaning customers will not have to compete with residential traffic for bandwidth.
Its 20Mb broadband for business deal is described as 'unlimited', but is based upon the company's fair usage policy.
Nikki Ratcliffe, Redstone's Marketing Director, commented: "Businesses need to be aware of the differences between broadband for business and residential internet services.
"The internet is an organisations lifeline to its customers and stakeholders. Office broadband must perform cost-effectively and deliver maximum performance under all circumstances."
She added that "not all broadband is created equal" and it is important to compare products on a like-for-like basis, taking into account all the features and restrictions.
Last week, BT announced that its own business phone and broadband bundle is now available to online customers at a discounted price.
