Sky Broadband to sponsor peak time Channel 4 films
Posted 26th July 2010 at 3:02pm by Oliver Folkard
Internet service provider Sky has revealed that it is set to sponsor films shown on the Channel 4 network for the next 12 months.
Sky Broadband has revealed that its sponsorship will include the peak-time broadcast of films on Channel 4, E4, Film4 and More 4, as well as their corresponding time-shifted and high definition channels.
The style of the promotions will focus on the firm's current Broadband Happily Ever campaign, with the advertising expected to first highlight the story of Little Red Riding Hood.
Robert Tansey, Group Brand Marketing Director of Sky, said: "Sky Broadband provides a high quality, great value service, and we believe this sponsorship deal is the right way of helping customers get the message about what we have to offer."
News of the Sky sponsorship deal has come after the firm confirmed it has reached an agreement over the proposed sale of Easynet Global Services to LDC.
