TalkTalk ramps up broadband deal ad campaign

TalkTalk has intensified its national media ad campaign, taking out a whole-page ad in the Metro newspaper to promote its broadband deals.
The internet service provider (ISP), which claims to offer "brighter phone and broadband", has been promoting its £6.99 broadband bundle for a number of weeks.
However, the latest ad, which aims to draw attention to TalkTalk's "unbeatable value" telecoms offering, marks a step up from its previous quarter page displays.
Consumers signing up for the ISP's latest deal can gain access to 24Mb broadband, unlimited evening and weekend calls to UK landlines and a free wireless router.
The firm says the offer enables customers to save more than £150 per year compared to the equivalent broadband packages on offer at BT and Virgin Media.
Earlier this month, it was reported that TalkTalk may offer free access to the Project Canvas TV service as part of its broadband deals.
