3's Mobile Broadband Bus heads to Glasgow
Posted 23rd August 2010 at 2:25pm by Oliver Folkard
Broadband provider 3 has gone up to Glasgow to outline the benefits that mobile internet can offer to UK consumers.
The company's Mobile Broadband Bus is in St Enoch Square today (August 23rd), where special guest Pollyanna Woodward from Five's The Gadget Show is helping to showcase the firm's range of smartphones and mobile internet deals.
3's visit has coincided with its announcement that it is investing £4 million in improving 3G reception and internet coverage in the city.
Charlotte Blanchard, Director of Products and Services at 3, said: "We believe it is a misconception that everyone is online and knows how to make the most of being connected to the internet.
"Part of the reason we've come to Glasgow today is to highlight that Scotland is behind the rest of the UK for internet adoption."
3's Mobile Broadband Bus has previously visited Leeds on its travels across the UK.
