FREEDOM4 Wi-Fi rebrands as Thrive telecom
Posted 20th August 2010 at 3:23pm by Oliver Folkard
Mobile and wireless broadband provider Freedom4 Wi-Fi is to change its branding, new reports have suggested.
According to ISPreview.co.uk, the organisation has changed its name to Thrive Telecom as part of plans to move forward after a period which saw it involved in a management buyout from Daisy Group.
The company looks set to continue its focus on the same core areas, with wholesale solutions related to mobile broadband, bundle 3G, unbundled 3G and Wi-Fi, as well as hosted hotspot solutions.
In addition, Thrive Telecom offers business solutions such as M2M and Active Directory products to its commercial clients.
Details of the changes have come after Daisy Group confirmed that it has sold its wireless internet spectrum to UK Broadband.
The major agreement, which was believed to be worth £12.5 million, saw the organisation pass on the WiMax licensing business once used as part of the Freedom4 subsidiary.
