Network returns to Sky broadband TV deals
Posted 18th August 2010 at 2:33pm by Ewan Taylor-Gibson
People who subscribe to Sky's broadband TV deals can now enjoy programming designed to help them relax, it has been revealed.
According to Digital Spy, the Landscape Channel network has been relaunched on the subscription TV service after a hiatus of around seven years.
It is providing content for several channels, including Showcase and Showcase 2, as well as Information TV.
The programmes tend to focus on the broadcasting of natural world images shown in conjunction with classical music.
Discussing the reintroduction of the service, Landscape Chairman Nick Austin told the website: "We made a number of strategic mistakes the first time round.
"Now with the benefit of hindsight and a lot of water under the bridge we are getting it right this time."
News of the relaunch has come after ITV confirmed it has agreed a deal to launch high definition versions of its digital channels through Sky's subscription services.
