Sky outlines benefits of broadband TV deals
Posted 20th August 2010 at 3:20pm by Oliver Folkard
Subscribers looking for new broadband TV deals could benefit from taking a look at new guidance released by Sky.
The broadband provider has unveiled new comparison tables which highlight how Sky's own deals for services including Sky Sports channels differ to major rivals such as BT and Virgin Media.
Among the benefits listed when comparing Sky's packages to BT are that consumers can enjoy interactive coverage, gain access to high definition versions of the channels and also enjoy the benefits of Sky Player.
In addition, Sky subscribers get to enjoy Sky Mobile TV for free until the end of the year, while Sky World HD customers are also set to have access to 3D services soon.
Sky recently confirmed it has agreed a deal which will see high definition versions of ITV's digital channels launched through subscription services in the future.
The offerings will be available to all homes subscribing to a Sky+HD package.
