Be Broadband has launched its new internet plus landline deals to the UK market.

Consumers can now pay for landline rental directly through the internet service provider (ISP), allowing it to offer phone and broadband bundles for the first time.

A Be Value and Basic Landline broadband package is now available for a monthly fee of £23.29, with subscribers able to customise their own deal.

In terms of broadband, they can choose between Value (£13.79 per month), Unlimited (£17.88) and Pro (£21.97), depending on the level of web use they anticipate.

For customers taking the Basic Landline option, £9.50 is added to their monthly bill, while Evening & Weekend (£10.50) and Anytime (£13.50) options are also available.

And since Be Broadband rents its landlines from BT, engineers from the latter are on hand should there be any form of connection problem.

In a recent blog posting, the ISP said it had focused on creating "a simple, low price landline service for people who would rather concentrate on broadband goodness than landline calls".
