AOL is offering one month free to consumers signing up for its home phone and broadband bundle.

The internet service provider (ISP) enables customers to save more than £20 by writing off their first month's bill and line rental fee, providing they register for web services online.

AOL's Broadband + Calls + Line Rental package offers up to 24Mb download speeds, a 10GB monthly usage allowance and free evening and weekend calls to UK landlines.

There is no connection fee applicable when taking out the broadband package, while a free wireless router is also included as part of the deal.

Consumers can choose to upgrade to the latest 'N' router if they desire a bigger wireless range.

After the first monthly bill, the phone and broadband package is priced at £9.99 per month, plus £11.99 line rental.

AOL also offers consumers the opportunity to take out Broadband Only and Broadband + Calls deals, should they wish to continue paying for line rental through their current telecoms provider.
