TalkTalk has boosted the appeal of its Essentials and Plus broadband packages by offering the incentive of 100 minutes per month to UK mobiles.
The calls, which must be made from a TalkTalk landline, can be made at any time of the day or night, seven days a week, for just £2.93 extra on the monthly bill.
It is the first time a UK internet service provider (ISP) has offered the option of inclusive calls to UK mobiles along with landline services, and the firm is expecting a warm response from customers.
For an average customer who currently pays standard rates to call UK mobiles, TalkTalk claims that the 100 minute package boost will save £12 per month.
Tristia Clarke from TalkTalk commented that the ISP is always looking to provide its customers with "choice, flexibility and unbeatable value".
"A market first from TalkTalk, this inclusive allowance for a low, fixed price means not having to worry about any additional charges," she commented.
The 100 Mobile Minutes Boost will be available to TalkTalk Essentials and TalkTalk Plus customers from Friday October 1st.
Available for just £6.99 per month, TalkTalk Essentials offers up to 24Mb downloads, a 40GB usage allowance, evening and weekend calls to all UK landlines, a free wireless 'N' router, free Magic Desktop and other various customer service features.
